Got tatooed?

Hello, everyone.

I know not many people would come visit my blog and read, but anyway I have to keep myself going. One small step makes different, right?

In my previous blog, I wrote about a book I read.

Today, I am going to write about my British friend who's recently got tatooed on his arm.

Well on his left arm this time.

He's got tatoos of a Dokuro (a skull) and a Geisha girl. They are pretty awsome, but the new one looks even better - An inari fox and a torii gate. Those Japanese-themed tatoos are so his original as if he has own fantasy story on his arms. Those are really symbolic to his enthusiasm, love, and passion to Japan.

When I was in England studying at a grammer school with local English students, boys were always talking about Nintendo. By Nintendo, it means what we called Super Famicon at that time.

Probably, the first thing most of boys in England met Japanese culture indirectly were video games for sure.

My friend was one of those kids. It was the moment when he asked his mother who intended Nintendo, and he was told it was a Japanese person. The sparkle moment in his life.

Ever since then, his passion has always been Japan.

I remember the day I asked him why he hadn't visited Japan yet.

He said, "what if I get disappointed. All my dreams will be spoiled."

It is really like a first love.

It even seems to me he is in love with himself who loves Japan.

As if he wants to keep his dreams going on.

I am so happy to hear that, but at the same time, I thought that when we desire too much, the dream could end up only a dream.

We simply become too scared to loose the comfortability

I met him more than 7 years ago, but he hasn't come to Japan yet.

It would be so exciting to have him here though.
